Winter Seed Sowing
My sister (and master gardener) told me about Winter Seed Sowing. Its a great way to cut costs by starting your own perennials, vegetables and hardy annuals by seed, naturally. No jiffy pots required and its much cheaper than the annual trip to the garden store. I've grown poppies, sweet peas, hibiscus,verbena,hollyhocks, foxglove and more!
